''And the Award goes to...''

C-ute has won the New Artist Award from the 49th Japan Record Awards (Nihon Record Taishou) along with three other artists. Unfortunatly they did not win the Best Hits Kayousai Newcomer Award but they received a runner up prize. They will also compete for the Best New Artist Award on a show that will be broadcast on December 30th 2007. Ganbatte C-ute!

They split an Award with 3 other artists? Then what's the use of giving this Award in the first place =/ it should have been, in the worst case, narrowed down to 2 winners only... Oh well, I guess it's great news either way.
