Well, I guess it's not really news but Maki Goto has been nominated for Yahoo! Japan Music's 2007 Music Awards for Most Photogenic! You can show your support by voting for her using the link below. She currently is winning by far by having 26% of votes whilst her main contender, PERFUME, only have 18%. I'm also suprised by how bad Koda Kumi is in the polls as although I'm not personally a fan I thought she was quite big in Japan? The important thing is, however,  that Maki kicks everyone else's ass ;)

Goto Maki has confirmed that she is graduating and continuing her career with another agency. I can understand why she did this. Her new album was going for a direction that H!P doesn't really specialise, if you catch my drift? She wanted to be taken seriously and its hard to do that within hello project where the main image is cute. When I first read this I thought no way and I was kinda upset that Maki was leaving hello project despite me never following her career much. But now after thinking about it I think that switching labels is the right thing to do as she really is a talented singer and solo artists dont tend to do well within hello project. I just hope that Gotos decision doesn't urge othere soloists to move from H!P.

Yuuki (Goto's brother) and his crime are mentioned a few times throughout this article though I dont really think thats what caused the move. Sped it up maybe but not caused it. All I can really think of saying about this is good luck to Goto and I hope this career move boosts her popularity with the Japanese public.

Personally Im excited for Buono's release as it seems like forever since I first got excited over this line up. I cant wait to see their PV. 

Also Berryz 15th single, Musume's 35th single and Gatas 2nd single seem worth waiting for. I wonder if I'll have any money left then to buy them ♪
